The initial consultation consists of a review of your medical history, clinical examination and a full discussion of your expectations and concerns. A good surgeon will start by discussing the patient’s goals and assess the patient’s suitability for cosmetic surgery. The nature of any proposed treatment will be discussed in detail including the procedure, recovery time and anticipated result.
Photographs may be taken to assist the discussion and written information is available about individual operations and you will receive written information and advice relating to the anaesthetic.
At your consultation with the surgeon, you will have the opportunity to discuss your treatment in even greater detail and address any queries that may have arisen since your first consultation
This meeting will take place well in advance of your treatment, again, giving you ample time to make the right decision and agree the best treatment plan for you.
All consultations are taking place at the modern Spire Little Aston Hospital near Birmingham.
