initial consultation consists of a review of your
medical history, clinical examination and a full
discussion of your expectations and concerns. A
good surgeon will start by discussing the patient's
goals and assess the patient's suitability for cosmetic
surgery.The nature of any proposed treatment will
be discussed in detail including the procedure,
recovery time and anticipated result. Photographs
may be taken to assist the discussion and written
information is available about individual operations
and you will receive written information and advice
relating to the anaesthetic.
At your consultation
with the surgeon, you will have the opportunity
to discuss your treatment in even greater detail
and address any queries that may have arisen since
your first consultation
This meeting will
take place well in advance of your treatment,
again, giving you ample time to make the right
decision and agree the best treatment plan for
you.
