| Mr
Atul Khanna graduated
in 1983 and commenced training in Surgery in General
in 1983. He became a Fellow of the Royal College
of Surgeons in 1989. He commenced his training
in Plastic, Reconstructive and Cosmetic Surgery
in 1989. This was carried out in Manchester, London,
Leicester and Nottingham. He acquired the FRCS
(Plast) in 1997 and was assessed in all aspects
of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic surgery
in 1998 by the European Board of Plastic, Reconstructive
and Aesthetic Surgery, and acquired their Diploma.
. He has also provided a high standard of care
in Plastic, Reconstructive and Cosmetic Surgery
privately during this time. Mr. Atul Khanna has
extensive years of experience in Plastic, Reconstructive
and Cosmetic Surgery. He has also been listed
in Marquis's Who's Who in the World and Marquis's
Who's Who in Science and Engineering.
He has been a council
member of the British Association of Aesthetic
Plastic Surgeons and Chairman of the British Medical
Association, Birmingham. He is also Honorary Secretary
of the West Midlands Regional Advisory Committee
in Plastic Surgery. He is actively involved in
teaching and training and has been College tutor
for Surgery for his NHS Trust. He has several
publications in scientific peer reviewed journals
and also acts as a reviewer for the Journal of
Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery.
He is on the GMC’s
Specialist Register in Plastic Surgery (GMC no:
3516568).
Mr
Khanna has been in Consultant practice
since 1998 and, is a substantive NHS Consultant
in Plastic Surgery at
- The Sandwell and
West Birmingham NHS Trust and,
- The Walsall Manor
Hospital NHS Trust.
In the NHS practice,
Mr Khanna has interests in Breast surgery, Congenital
disorders,Hand Surgery,Skin Oncology and aspects
of paediatric Plastic Surgery
In addition to his NHS
commitments Mr Khanna
has a private practice based at Spire
Little Aston Hospital, Little Aston Hall Drive, Sutton
Coldfield that offers all aspects of cosmetic
surgery including breast surgery (breast reduction
and augmentation), Facial rejuvenation surgery
(facelifts, blepharoplasty, rhinoplasty, prominent
ear correction) and body contouring surgery (abdominoplasty,
liposuction, thigh lifts) and skin rejuvenation
procedures ( BOTOX®,Skin fillers such as Restylane,
Chemical peels)
Mr
Khanna is recognised by all British Health
insurance providers. For patients with health
insurance it is necessary to pre-arrange cover
with their respective Insurance Company for treatment
before their consultation
Mr.

seminars as well as national and international
conferences to ensure he is at the forefront of
